ceramics
Dating back to the Tang Dynasty (618-917) or 18th Century England, depending on who you believe, slip casting is the traditional method of making clay objects out of plaster molds. Our products are made in the equally exotic Pacific Northwest of the United States.
Cotton
Ethiopia's cotton begins in the sun-drenched lowlands, where smallholder farmers nurture cotton plants without heavy chemicals or industrial machinery. Cotton here is hand-harvested and de-seeded using simple wooden gins passed down through generations.
Wool
Sourced from regional flocks in the Northeastern United States, our wool products are hand dyed and woven on 19th century looms to produce the quality and durability of old world heirloom treasures traditionally handed down from generation to generation.
